Hospital Hotline

NEW RADIO SHOW SET TO OFFER

SPECIAL COMFORT TO HOSPITAL PATIENTS

Most people aren’t big fans of hospitals. Spending any amount of time in a hospital bed can be scary, boring, annoying, or depressing – sometimes all at the same time. Long stays are especially difficult, especially if you’re from out of town, leaving some people with no visits or contact from their loved ones.

Many patients get bored and choosing meals may be the only highlight of the day. But imagine if patients could order a song and a message for themselves, loved ones or anyone in hospital and get it served up on a radio station for everyone to hear.

100.9FM Noongar Radio’s new Hospital Hotline will do exactly this. Fiona Stanley Hospital has also thrown support behind the program having a Special LIVE FIRST SHOW Launch at the Hospital on 2 May 2017 from 9am WST.

Regular weekly programs can be heard from 10am to 11am each Tuesday on 100.9fm, Digital and streamed via noongarradio.com. It is easy to get involved, by text simply send a song request or message to 0448 821 186 before or during the program.

It is anticipated that Hospital Hotline will be broadcasted through Western Australia on other Community Radio Stations to broaden a caring connection to more families.

At 100.9FM Noongar Radio we pride ourselves on putting Community first and keeping strong connections to family, country and culture.
