Michelle White

Chief Executive Officer — Noongar Radio 100.9fm

Michelle White is a multi-award winning journalist with more than 20 years experience in television and radio. She is a former Series Producer for the ABC TV Indigenous series Message Stick. Michelle has worked on a variety of ABC programs including TV News, The 7.30 Report, Australian Story and Blackout. Her radio credits include Awaye! on Radio National and a four year stint as the WA representative for The Morning Show on Triple J. Michelle is a passionate supporter of the arts and spent three years as the Marketing Manager for Yirra Yaakin Aboriginal Corporation. She is currently a Director of Yirra Yaakin and the Indigenous representative on the ScreenWest board. In her spare time, she is the Vice President of her local community association.

Jeff Michael

Program Director | Broadcaster — Noongar Radio 100.9fm

Jeff Michael got his start in radio at 1170 6AR soon after they began. Former 96fm News Director, Murray Dickson was impressed how Jeff read a sample news bulletin and soon after Jeff found himself taking over some of the on-air duties from Andrew Ryder and Bevan Rankins. While at 6AR Jeff presented news, sport, request programmes and all the stuff behind the scenes. Jeff is very excited that 100.9FM Noongar Radio is starting afresh with a wide range of music and talk show programming to suit almost everyone.

Kerry Reid

Administration | Broadcaster — Noongar Radio 100.9fm

Kerry Reid is a Noongar and an Arrernte woman. Kerry's passion for music started when was just a little girl, so earlier this year (2009) when the opportunity arose for a trainee radio broadcaster she couldn't have been more excited. Kerry has learnt how to play music from Abmusic and now delights in being able to broadcast it for everyone to enjoy.

Karla Hart

Broadcaster — Noongar Radio 100.9fm

Karla Hart is a Noongar yorga from the South West of Western Australia and has lived in Perth for thirteen years. Karla has studied Aboriginal Theatre at WAAPA and recently completed her last year in a BA of Contemporary Performance at ECU Mt Lawley. Karla is very busy and has been involved in the arts industry in WA for four years and has been involved with theatre, film, dance, writing and directing to name a few, she also does a lot of work for Yirra Yaakin teaching metro and intrastate school age children traditional and contemporary dance and acting and writing techniques. Karla is proud to manage and perform with Kwarbah Djookian, a traditional women's dance group.      

Neil O'Donnel

Managing Director — Peedac Pty Ltd (parent company of Noongar Radio)

Neil O'Donnel is the sixth out of eight kids. His Mum was born at Yandiyara, and belongs to the Palyku mob, and his Dad, of Irish descent, was from Nabawa, North of Geraldton. Born in Subiaco, Neil spent his time growing up in both Noongar and Yamatji country. After finishing his teaching degree, Neil entered the APS working in Perth, Adelaide, Marla and Kalgoorlie. Neil brings to his role extensive experience across many other areas working with the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Commission; Noongar Alcohol and Substance Abuse Service; Medina Aboriginal Cultural Group and currently Managing Director of Peedac Pty Ltd. Neil’s style of leadership is acknowledged as fair, open and inclusive. All aspects of Neil’s work are motivated by his passion for social justice as he has good knowledge in the broad area of social policy. Neil completed his Post Graduate degree in Management, and numerous ACID Management certificates.
