On Tuesday Mark was joined by Fiona Allison, a research fellow from the Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research, to talk about the Call It Out register.
The Call It Out register is a project that is run by the Jumbunna Institute and the National Justice Project. The register encourages all Australians who witness any racist or discriminatory behaviour against First Nations people to “call it out.”
The aim of the register is to help inform public policy and anti-racism action, as well as support beneficial responses from First Nation organisations, leaders and the wider community.
Head to the website here to call it out, and listen to the full chat with Mark to learn more about Jumbunna and the register itself:
