It’s been one year today, since a candlelight vigil was held for the much loved Cassius Turvey. His mum, Mechelle Turvey, the WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch, and the Head of WA Police Homicide, Steve Cleal joined Mark Patrick on The Breakfast Show to talk about the lived experience training Mechelle is generously delivering in a WA Police program called TAKE 5.
TAKE 5 is a new victim engagement training program for new recruits and serving officers is being delivered by Mechelle Turvey, after tragically losing her son Cassius, following a violent attack which shocked the nation.
