NAIDOC Perth Opening Ceremony
To officially launch the week of celebrations, head to Wellington Square on July 7th for an empowering opening ceremony. The event will showcase performances from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and performers alongside community stalls, activities for the little ones, face painting, and tasty traditional food vans.

Official Flag Raising Ceremony – Everyone is invited to attend the official flag raising ceremony to mark the beginning of NAIDOC Week 2024.
- When: Monday 8th July, 1.30pm – 2.30pm
- Where: South Perth Community Hall
Mirrabooka NAIDOC Cultural Celebration -The Mirrabooka NAIDOC Event is a vibrant and inclusive event that gives our local community the chance to connect through ceremony, entertainment, cultural activities and more.

- Where: Stirling Leisure Centres – Herb Graham, Mirrabooka
NAIDOC Week Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony – To mark NAIDOC Week, join us at the Subiaco Library for a native inspired morning tea, followed by a traditional dance, a Welcome to Country performed by Noongar Elder Freda Ogilvie and a Smoking Ceremony.
