A new docu-series from LADbible Australia aims to uncover first-hand accounts of racial injustice in Australia. Wiradjuri Man and filmmaker Jack Steele co-wrote the series including episodes on Indigenous youth and incarceration.

UNHEARD also explores systems that allow racism to continue all the way into 2021. Each episode is driven by interviews from individuals and experts who have experienced traumatic racist events first-hand, and are blended with animation, archive footage, podcasts, photographs, phone conversations and info-graphics that reveal the shocking statistics and complexities behind the larger issues.

“It’s a six-part series that tackles racial discrimination within various different areas of Australia” he told Noongar Radio’s breakfast show host Mark Patrick, “I wrote, produced and directed episodes one and two, episode one is Indigenous deaths in custody and episode two is the treatment of Indigenous youth.”
