“I want our families to be safe and our communities to be safe”
Minister for Indigenous Australians Ken Wyatt has told Noongar Radio that the Federal Government is taking action to counter misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine in communities.
“We had a meeting last week with Aboriginal pastors and we were having a discussion around the false information coming out of America to an individual in Australia who’s been then circulating it to all of our faith-based groups” he told the Noongar Radio Breakfast show with Mark Patrick, “This information is totally wrong, the vaccine is scientifically evaluated, it’s been clinically trialed, it meets all the rigor.. it’s scary this false information is out there.”
