This morning Mark was joined by Centre for Stories event coordinator Jay Anderson and Zena Ibrahim to discuss their upcoming event called Everyone Deserves a Place to Call Home.
Running in conjunction with homelessness week, the event hopes to raise awareness around homelessness in Western Australia. Around 100,000 Australians experience some form of homelessness every night, with homelessness itself taking many different forms.
Zena, Mark and Jay chatted about their homelessness experiences, how being homeless can affect your mental health and how the event will help raise awareness on the topic.
